The drama of IMOCA Open 60 sailboat racing is coming to television in a multi-programme, international series to be shown on over 20 channels around the world. Channel 4 in the UK is set to broadcast the first episode of a thrilling six-part series, The Barcelona World Race, beginning this Sunday, January 20th. Further screenings will be shown on the digital channel More 4, so be sure to check local listings in the UK. The six episode programme will be shown as a weekly series.Over 20 broadcasters around the world have committed to the series, including:
