Morning all, Gringo here. I have to say, that it is a pleasure to be working inside at this time of year when the weather is so foul outside, especially when we all seem to be suffering with cold & flu!
There really is a lot going on here at Artemis Ocean Racing. It feels like we are juggling with many balls in the air, and trying not to drop any!
We have components of the new boat arriving from various corners of the world, and it's now getting really exciting for Jonny and the rest of the team, as we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The boat was painted with 545 (primer) last night, and will now be ready for its final glossy top coat.
This stage of the build process seems to be the most frustrating for everyone. The builders have a million and one detailed jobs to do, which means the overall appearance of the boat doesn't seem to be progressing... But let me assure you it most definitely is progressing, and that the build team are doing an awesome job! READ MORE
