James Spithill to helm Genuine Risk

The 100th running of the Chicago Mac race will be one to remember with the return of Genuine Risk the 90ft canting keel that has been pulled out of the shed for her final sail under the ownership of Randall Pittman. She will be skippered by none other than America’s Cup skipper James Spithill who will be flying in from Lake Garda after the RC44 event just in time for the start. There’s sure to be a few more rock stars on board! Stay tuned….

You have to wonder with all the big wigs(pros) onboard will the boat be that much better? Come-on just because you have some A-Cup sailors on the team you won't automatically win. Is Spithill going to be driving the whole time?
