Tour de France a la Voile

Tonight, the twenty-seven M 30s of the Tour de France Sailing Race will be in the submarine base of Lorient. According to a decision by the race committee and race direction, the boats were put on their trailers in Granville – Pays Granvillais. The weather conditions, and the wind blowing between force 6 and 7, wouldn’t have allowed the competitors to sail around the raz de Sein. Therefore, the organisers had to cancel the offshore leg towards Perros-Guirec Côtes d’Armor. The crews are currently working on their boats so as to put them back to sea. They will train tomorrow in front of Lorient, before they resume the race on Thursday morning. Read More...
