Nearly 18 hours after pulling alongside the wharf in Valencia's commercial port, the Oceanlady discharged its most precious cargo - the BOR 90 trimaran - just before 21:30 on Monday night.

Despite the intermittent rain throughout the day, the weather co-operated as well as could be hoped for, allowing a successful unloading operation to take place. The key factor on the day was always going to be wind, and on this day, the breeze remained at a manageable level for the shore team to get its work completed in one long day.

Of course, getting the cargo on shore is just the first item on a long list of tasks to be completed in the days ahead. But for day one of full operations in Valencia, it's been a satisfying task to complete.
