The countdown to San Diego Melges Race Week

The countdown to San Diego - the first event of the inaugural Melges California
Cup is down to just over two weeks - and the event is shaping up to be a great
one.

The series is attracting some of the top competitors in the Class, including Vince
Brun, two-time World Champion, and Brian Porter, national champion several
times over. Both of whom have already confirmed their participation in San
Diego.

With more than ten teams already on the entry list and three more to confirm in
the days ahead, the California Melges 24 Fleet is showing that it is very much
alive and ready to put the West Coast back on top as a premier destination for
great competition and lots of fun.

The SDYC San Diego Melges Race Week + Yachting Cup (April 30 - May 2)
is the first of three regattas in the series, followed by TYC Tahoe Melges Race
Week + Trans-Tahoe (July 8-10) and SFYC San Francisco Melges Race Week +
US Melges 24 Gold Cup (August 20-22).
