Just when you thought it can’t get any bigger, BMW Oracle has ordered up a bigger mast for the trimaran. Why? To meet the needs of a super light air venue if the cup race happens between Alinghi’s yacht and Oracle’s Super Tri. Not knowing where the venue will be held, Oracle will have three masts on hand…light, medium, and heavy air masts to cover all wind ranges.
